we traveled the country in pursuit of good times
waiting to see what was around every corner
such a beautiful summer
happened so long ago
but I still cherish the memories
like they were yesterday
nothing could beat us down
we were eternal and strong
playing in the middle of nowhere
for fifteen bucks and a spot on the floor that night
good times where shared by all
